I was moving out and exceptionally worried about getting my apartment deep cleaned in time. John immediately put me at ease with his sympathetic grin and got to work with intense dedication, and cleaned and polished my studio apartment until it absolutely shone - it looked better than it had when I moved in. The kitchen and bathroom were especially gleaming - he made the oven, fridge and microwave look new. This was no small feat as my main use of oven was to drop pizzas inside of it. John was recommended by a friend who knew my frustration with prior cleaners who didn't do much (i.e. did not say when they were coming, if at all; stole from us; did not dust or mop... so what DID they do?).

John deep-cleaned our bathroom and kitchen this past weekend, per our request. They are literally GLOWING. The white-tiled bathroom looks like some sort of glowing tunnel at the end of our hallway, which led to "Don't go into the light" jokes. Every single item in the kitchen down to the pepper mill (no exaggeration) was degreased. We hope to have John clean our whole place at least once per month now. After 2.5 years of trying cleaners in San Francisco, we've found someone we'd love to pay again!

We LOVE John and his mad cleaning skills. He's sweet, interesting and trustworthy. I had no qualms about going out and running errands while he was cleaning, etc. Superb. (Mon, Sep. 21, 2009)

John showed up exactly when he said he would, and worked like crazy for five solid hours on my move-out clean. He had to work around the movers, who were a little late and slower to load than we'd estimated. At the end, my kitchen and bathroom sparkled. He made the fridge and oven look especially good. John is the best Cleaning Fairy! In addition to doing the basics really well, he adds the finishing touches that make the house feel cleaner than when I do it myself (folds hand towel in bathroom, lines up items on counter, etc).

John also does specialty stuff like helping organize, getting the house ready for a party, and post-party clean-up.

I count down the days in between Cleaning Fairy visits. Johnny makes my house sparkle and shine. He cleans like my mother and that is saying A LOT. I have a dog, a cat and giant hairballs that hide in every corner. Johnny finds them all and makes them disappear. He's into the details. If you are a controlling neat freak and too busy to do it yourself, like me, Johnny is definitely the one for you. If I didn't care about his well-being, I wouldn't write any of this.
